At about 1am of Tuesday, 2nd June, Iyana Ipaja area of Lagos got razed by fire, spreading across a wide area. Till 5am, men of the fire service have not arrived the scene to contain the fire accident. Over 20 cars, shops and houses were burnt severely.
However, the youths in the community are making all effort to put the situation under control. The cause of the fire outbreak cannot be ascertained at the moment and as at the time of filing this report, people of Iyana Ipaja are still in expectant of the Fire Service.
