British backpacker leaves handsome stranger a hand-painted 'love note' when she spotted him on New Zealand beach... and now he's asked her to dinner

The young woman who penned a romantic note in an attempt to locate a handsome stranger she spotted on the beach has met her mystery man for the first time. In front of a crowd who gathered to see the two finally introduce themselves, William Scott Chalmers and his Juliet, Scottish backpacker Sarah, met on the foreshore of Picton, in New Zealand, just after 2pm on Tuesday. William, who brought a bottle of champagne with him, walked over to where Sarah was sitting and said 'Hello, I'm William, you know you could have just asked for my number.' 'Lets go somewhere and have a drink away from everyone,' he told her, as the crowd watching their date clapped and cheered.


Good for them,but am sure Nigerian girls can't be this straight to the point about love.
