Byers reportedly popped the question on Gealey’s 31st birthday on Sunday, July 26, while celebrating with friends at Kinmont Restaurant in Chicago. He shared a sweet Instagram collage from the night, writing, “Had so much fun celebrating @gracegealey’s life!! Happy Birthday to an exquisite human being! Thank you @kinmontchicago for hosting us. Amazing spot, wonderful food, UNFORGETTABLE night.”
