The Ooni by tradition is the custodian of the Oduduwa (Oodua) legacy so he is just the right person to lecture the contestants on the virtues of a real Oduduwa and Yoruba woman and what Miss Oodua stands for.

The grand finale of Miss Oodua holds on Wednesday, January 2o at Hilton Hotel, Ile-Ife, Osun state while that of the Oodua Festival holds on Thursday, January 21 at Ile-Ife and it will be hosted by the Ooni of Ife.
Meanwhile, beautiful 20-year-old Miss Onayemi Olamde, a student of Babcock University, Ogun state beats 13 other contestants to win the 2015 Miss Olokun crown in November, 2015.
